This all sprung from the skirt. I had drawn that and the shirt (without the detailing) on the figure before I did the hair. I ended up drawing Azula's hair and everything flowed from there. It seemed like an out fit had an Azula-like character about it, even if she herself would never wear it. It's a very sleek and clean look, and Azula doesn't like burdens or unneccesary things, it also gives the wearer an air of confidence like "I know what I'm doing, don't get in my way." The detailing was just to make it not as bland.
I really like this. I might just have to learn to sew and make myself that skirt. And I would kill for those shoes. KILL.
And an e-cookie to those that noticed the thigh-highs before reading the description. I wanted to give it an edge of sexiness, because we all know the entire fire royal family is teh sex.
A comment on this! I thought it was buried in the depths of dA for sure.
Thanks.
I don't know what else to say except that you made me smile (and gave me an ego boost ), so...thanks.

"This is my timey-wimey detector. Goes ding when there's stuff. Also it can boil an egg at thirty paces. [makes a face] Whether you want it to or not, actually, so I've learned to stay away from hens; it's not pretty when they blow...."

DeviantART and the martial arts action film, Ninja Assassin, have teamed up to allow ALL deviants the ability to install Journal Skins! Select an awesome Ninja Assassin skin or choose the skin of your choice.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

The anatomy in this piece is exceptional, and the design is simply stunning.
